Actions speak louder than words. You say you love him, but you're not there for him. You never appreciate him or give him recognition for what he's done. He's doing what he can with what he has to work with. You say it's not enough. I couldn't blame him for being slowed down by doubt, with the kind of love you give him. You can talk all you want, but what are you really doing to help him? I think he'd be fine by himself, because he's obviously made it this far without true care and love. Go on and continue to say you love him, but stay where you are. He needs someone else to show him how much they care. He'll be happy without dealing with a "love" that isn't there.
